Your site has been a pleasure to work with on a high enrolling study. I was happily surprised that your site became our top enroller as it is often sites in the larger cities to win this title. I believe it is through your active involvement in recruitment, your excellent rapport with your patients and study site personnel plus your devotion of time and interest that has made your site such a success.

Ms. Debnam is a joy to work with. She provides excellent source documentation and is remarkable in maintaining recruitment efforts while performing a large number of subject visits. She is a role model for other coordinators. As I have mentioned during study visits, I wish Ms. Debnam could be cloned for all the other sites in the study!

Ms. Fowler amazes me with her organization of the study file notebook and various other details related to the study. She provides regulatory documentation before I ask for them! I am grateful to her attention to detail. Both Ms. Debnam and Ms. Fowler make my job much easier. I find I am able to accomplish a great deal in a shorter period due to the excellent quality of work and the extras they provide, such as copying labs.

I believe there are 5 traits required for a site to be successful in a clinical trial. They are:

1. An active, involved PI in all phases of the study
2. Excellent communication skills with subjects and the sponsor
3. Successful recruitment of evaluable subjects
4. Quality source documentation
5. Knowledgeable study coordinators and site staff

As an experienced CRA who has monitored clinical trials for many years, there are a very limited number of research sites which stand out in my mind for the quality of their work. Your location, Vital re:Search is such a facility. The ability to enroll qualified patients, the concern demonstrated toward both patient care and study guidelines, the dedication of the study coordinators all exemplify the type of research site that strives to be the best.
